Overview of the Brent Morrison Golf Academy

Brent Morrison Golf Academy is located in Pheasant Glen Golf Resort, on the east coast of Vancouver Island, British Columbia, Canada. So, when you are looking for BC junior golf lessons for your kid or teen you should consider this academy which was nominated, by Golf Magazine's, as one of the "Top 25 Best Golf Schools".

Brent Morrison Golf Academy offer a 10-month collegiate golf preparatory program for competitive juniors.

At this junior golf academy, kids (from 13 to 18 years old) may enroll in the Collegiate Golf preparatory program and attend academic school at the Kwalikum Secondary or Qualicum Middle School.

Both schools are located within 5 kilometers of the Brent Morrison training facility at Pheasant Glen Golf Resort (shuttle service available to both Canadian and International students).

Beside golf instruction and academic school, your junior golfer will be introduced to nutrition lectures, strength and conditioning training, tournament scheduling, university planning, power yoga, sports psychology and personal development seminars.

Brent Morrison is the Golf Academy Director. He personally instructs students in the Collegiate Golf preparatory program, Post-Secondary Tour Prep and Junior Tournament Preparatory Programs. Brent Morrison was recently nominated for Golf Magazine's prestigious list of "Top 100 Best Golf Teachers".

The Brent Morrison Golf Academy's mission is ''to identify athletes who have both the ability and desire to achieve University Golf Scholarships and pursue fulfilling careers in Professional Golf, providing these athletes with the guidance, training and experience required to maximize their potential''.

The Brent Morrison Golf Academy's philosophy is ''to identify the social, academic and cultural requirements needed to develop the "whole person", not just the athlete. This Junior Golf Academy embraces the recognition that young athletes must be as well prepared for life outside of their sport as they are for the playing of the sport itself''.

This Junior Golf Academy offers a home stay program. According to the Brent Morrison Golf academy ''the homestay includes a private, furnished room in a safe, clean home and daily meals for the duration of your junior golfer program.

All homestay families are prescreened and care is taken to see that their students are placed in an encouraging and supportive environment with families of similar interests''.

Their home stay option is available to juniors enrolled in Summer Programs, Spring Break, and Collegiate Golf Prep.
